Scotland I love you

The accent, the people, the scenery, the culture… What’s not to love about this wonderful country?

When I first visited Scotland I fell completely and utterly in love. After 18 years of living in the midlands I packed up and went North and the Scots were incredibly accommodating. I moved to Stirling in central Scotland and the friends I made will be with me for life.

Almost three years later I moved to the city centre of Glasgow and it is the most unique city I’ve ever had the privilege of living in.

The people of Glasgow are unlike any people I’ve ever met. They’ll take no shit and stand up for what is right. If you need proof just look at the way they responded to the fatal stabbing of Glasgow shop keeper Mr Shah and the anti bullshit attitude they had when the controversial Roosh V organised a Glasgow event.

Being away from Scotland these next few months really will be tough but no matter where I am in the world Scotland will always be in my heart. Scotland, I love you.
